The last 2 weeks in Nanzhila have continued to produce awesome sightings! In addition to a number of sightings of sable, roan and hartebeest, we also have started to see new life on the plains of Nanzhila including the latest arrivals to the oribi!

The ‘stand out’ sightings however must be the lion kill just in front of camp where 8 lions took down an impressive waterbuck. This provided some incredible scenes for guests in the lodge at the time.

We were then treated the next morning as a small herd of elephant came to the dambo in front of the lodge for “brunch” and a drink which was such a special moment for all who were fortunate enough to witness it!

Steve has also started a “tree audit” in camp – identifying the various species can be quite tricky and we have a good deal more species around camp than initially thought!
