Nanzhila Safaris offers two distinct lodge experiences, each designed to showcase a different facet of the Southern Kafue’s ecology. Both camps emphasize "bush luxury"—sustainable, comfortable, and deeply connected to the surrounding environment

Nanzhila Lake Camp

Located on the verdant shores of Lake Itezhi-Tezhi, Lake Camp provides a contrasting landscape of water-rich shorelines and lush vegetation.

The focus here is on the diversity of species attracted to the water. Expect to see large herds of elephant, buffalo, and hippo right in front of the camp. During the dry season, the receding waters create a "feeding bonanza" for predators.

Beautifully appointed tented chalets under thatch. Each unit is positioned along the tree line to provide unobstructed views of the Musa River bed.

Best For: Birdwatching enthusiasts, fans of "mega-herbivores," and those who enjoy the tranquility of a lakeside setting.

Nanzhila Plains Camp

Nestled on the edge of a vast dambo (floodplain) and shaded by ancient Jackalberry and Sausage trees, Plains Camp is the quintessential remote outpost.

Known as the "Home of the Predators," this camp offers incredible sightings of lion, wild dog, and cheetah.

Accommodation: Features three thatched chalets and three safari tents, each with en-suite bathrooms and private verandas. It is small and intimate, hosting a maximum of 12 guests to ensure a private and personalized atmosphere.

Best For: Travelers seeking the "spirit of old Africa" and those focused on grassland wildlife and predator action.
