A 6 night safari combining Victoria Falls and the Kafue National Park
This safari allows you to experience 3 of the most complimentary camps and regions of the Southern and central parts of Kafue National Park in Zambia. Beginning in Livingstone and ending in Lusaka (or vice versa), the Extended Classic Kafue Safari offers the wide open spaces and game drive/safari walk focus of Nanzhila Plains Camp with the stunning game rich shorelines of Lake Itezhi-tezhi from Nanzhila Lake Camp. These 2 areas are then complimented by the beautiful river side location and river activities of Kaingu Safari Lodge. This gives you both land and water based activities and a myriad of different wildlife and birding species to discover - it really is the best of both worlds!

DAY 1 - 4: 3 NIGHTS
3 nights at Taita Falcon Lodge
Perched 230 meters (750 feet) above the churning rapids of the Zambezi River, Taita Falcon Lodge is more than just a place to stay—it is a vantage point on the world. Located on the lip of the dramatic Batoka Gorge, just 11km downstream from Victoria Falls, this owner-run sanctuary offers a level of seclusion and "Bush Zen" that is impossible to find in the busy town center of Livingstone. DAY 1 - 4: 3 NIGHTS
3 nights at Nanzhila Plains Camp
Nanzhila Plains is the most southerly camp in Kafue National Park. It is situated on a tree-covered "island" overlooking the dambos (seasonal wetlands) of the Nanzhila River. The camp provides a private safari experience in a vast, under-explored region.
Camp Highlights:
- This is one of the best locations in Zambia to see roan, sable, and oribi. The open dambos allow for clear, long-distance viewing of these specialized species.
- Guaranteed predator sightings (lion, leopard, cheetah)
- With over 450 recorded species in the area, the plains are a significant draw for birdwatchers, including sightings of the endemic Black-cheeked Lovebird.
