A 9 night Kafue safari staying at 2 or 3 different camps
This safari allows you to experience 3 of the most complimentary camps and regions of the Southern and central parts of Kafue National Park in Zambia. Beginning in Livingstone and ending in Lusaka (or vice versa), the Extended Classic Kafue Safari offers the wide open spaces and game drive/safari walk focus of Nanzhila Plains Camp with the stunning game rich shorelines of Lake Itezhi-tezhi from Nanzhila Lake Camp. These 2 areas are then complimented by the beautiful river side location and river activities of Kaingu Safari Lodge. This gives you both land and water based activities and a myriad of different wildlife and birding species to discover - it really is the best of both worlds!

3 nights at Nanzhila Plains Camp in the Southern Kafue
As mentioned, this safari can EITHER start from Livingstone or Lusaka - the starting point will dictate which camp is first on the itinerary. Whichever is first, we will collect you from your point of departure and transfer you into camp. A portion of the drive will be through the national park which means you get to enjoy a game drive before arriving and settling into your rooms.

3 nights at a serene lodge on the banks of the Kafue River
After breakfast, we will leave camp to meet the team from Kaingu. Kaingu River Lodge is magnificently situated in the riparian woodland on the banks of the Kafue River with stunning views. African finfoot, hippo and a wide variety of birdlife are on constant display and river based boat cruises and canoeing is a must on this portion of the Kafue River. Kaingu also conducts game drives in a stunning section of the Kafue National Park.

3 nights near Lake Itezhi-tezhi staying at Nanzhila Lake Camp
Lake camp is the perfect destination for big game viewing, bird watching and photographic opportunities as you have wide open views in front of the camp with consistent congregations of wildlife that come through. Expect superb hospitality, wholesome food, a brilliant setting and a top notch sightings.
